Privacy Policy

The following privacy policy governs all use of the SnipRSS.com website and browser extensions and all content, supplementary services and products available at or through the website (collectively, the “Service”). The Service is owned and operated by Red Robot Studios Ltd. (“RRS”).

It is vitally important that personal information is kept safe and confidential. It is equally important that when you (“the User”) communicate information to RRS, or RRS communicates with the User that such communication is secure.

This Policy (“the Policy”) is intended to make sure that RRS, does everything that is reasonably possible to ensure that information and communication with the User is kept private.

Information collected is information which the User chooses to give RRS. This may be details provided by filling in forms on the website (www.sniprss.com). This information is used to be able to deal with enquiries without asking unnecessary or unreasonable questions.

  • Displaying content from external sources (i.e. content collected by the User while using RRS);

How does RRS use information collected?

RRS uses the information supplied to provide the User with the service requested.

With the User’s permission and based on the information supplied, information about other services or products can be provided which may be of interest or benefit to the User.

Online Advertising

RRS use Google AdWords and Analytics Remarketing to advertise the product online. AdWords remarketing will display relevant ads tailored to the User based on what parts of the RRS website have been viewed, by placing a cookie on the User’s machine. THIS COOKIE DOES NOT IN ANYWAY IDENTIFY THE USER OR GIVE ACCESS TO THEIR COMPUTER The cookie is used to say “This person visited this page, so show them ads relating to that page.” Google AdWords Remarketing allows us to tailor RRS marketing to better suit user needs and only display ads that are relevant to the User.

User Rights

RRS will, at User request and subject to proof of identity, provide details of all personal information held about the User. Such information may be corrected, added to or deleted to ensure that it is accurate, up-to-date, complete and purposeful.

Website Security

RRS has security procedures in place for the administration of the website which prevent unauthorised access to the website processes and records. Ordinary emails passing between both parties are not secure. If the User suspects that their data has reached an unauthorised person through RRS, please provide a statement of how any actual or suspected security breach has come to your notice and the nature of that breach. RRS will investigate and take action as necessary to remedy any breach of security, where this is feasible.

The RRS website may contain links to other websites of interest. However, once the User has used these links to leave the site, RRS has no control nor does it accept responsibility for the contents of that website. Therefore, RRS cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information the User provides whilst visiting such sites, and such sites are not governed by this privacy statement. Retention

RRS retains records in electronic form and maintains adequate backup procedures in the event of data corruption or destruction. After records are no longer required to be kept, they are deleted in accordance with legal retention periods unless otherwise maintained for the purposes of protecting RRS or its users.

Changes to our Privacy Policy

RRS may amend the Policy from time to time. Any substantial changes will be notified via a prominent notice on the landing page of the Service website.

The User also has the right to request access to, or the deletion of any personal data concerning the Client unless otherwise instructed by an appropriate legal authority.
